During a weekly inspection of your fleet the following will be checked and you will be advised on areas/items that need to be attended to:

◦ Inspect all hydraulic cylinders for leaks and ram damage
◦ Inspect hydraulic piping for leaks and loose mounting clips
◦ Inspect the pins and bushes for excessive wear
◦ Inspect the guides and slides for excessive wear
◦ Inspect the PTO and pump for possible damage and leaks
◦ Inspect the load body for cracks and other damage
◦ Inspect the tailgate for damage and possible excessive wear of the hopper floor and sweeper blade
◦ Measure the cycle times
◦ Stabiliser operation on cherry pickers and truck mounted cranes
◦ Cherry picker structure, validity of safety certificate

In addition to the above Waste Truck Repairs also offer hydraulic and load body services at our normal rates in order to ensure that your vehicle will always operate at optimal capacity.

◦ Cleaning of suction strainers
◦ Inspect grease nipples and replace where necessary
◦ Replace hydraulic oil and reset hydraulic pressure
◦ Detailed system check and report

A report regarding any damage and possible misuse or abuse of the equipment will be submitted to yourselves.

This report will also give you an indication of damage/ breakages that will need to be attended to urgently and the estimated downtime to effect the said repairs.

The consequences and seriousness thereof, should the damage/breakages not be attended to, will also be indicated.
